Black Pearl chillies are the first black leafed ornamental pepper on the market which will make a statement in your conservatory when it is covered in tiny deep purple/black fruit. One of these plants will make a talking point at your dinner party or whenever you have guests popping in.
We suggest starting off the seeds as normal and then growing them in containers when they are strong enough to move, but while some growers say they make superb additions to patios we stress that doing so depends entirely where you live if you want healthy plants.
Conservatories or greenhouses, sunny windowsills are better we believe for these hot little chilli peppers. When unripe they measure between 10,000 and 20,000 SHU (Scoville heat units) which increases as they become ripe
