Choose Kilaxy F1 seeds for winter cabbages
Cabbage 'Kilaxy' F1 Hybrid is an excellent winter cabbage and has many great attributes for the home gardener.
It shows good resistance to clubroot and has high tolerance to ‘internal black', giving it good storage life. 'Kilaxy' produces dense heads of good flavour with very tender internal leaves. Harvest September to December.
Clubroot resistant variety which stores well when cut.
Sow Indoors: February-March thinly ½in (1cm) deep in clean trays or modules of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times.
Sow Outdoors: April-June thinly ½in (1cm) deep in a seed bed or clean module trays of firm pre watered compost. Keep soil moist at all times. Protect from frost.
Thin Out: 4in (10cm) apart.
Plant Out: May-June into the required harvest position 12in (30cm) apart with 12in (30cm) between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.
Harvest: October - January
